Bio
Jason Earley is a partner and lead trial lawyer at Jennings & Earley PLLC, heading the firm’s personal injury practice from the Birmingham, Alabama, office. Jason has dedicated his career to advocating for individuals harmed by large corporations, successfully taking on corporate giants such as Monsanto, Syngenta, 3M, Bard, and Alibaba, with more than $1.5 billion recovered for his clients. Recognized as a top trial lawyer, Jason has been featured by publications including Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers, and the National Trial Lawyers. He is also a member of the American Bar Association and the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association.
Jason earned his Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Lyon College in Batesville, Arkansas, in 1999. He went on to obtain his Juris Doctor with high honors from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law in 2004, where he was a member of the Law Review and Trial Team.
A notable highlight of Jason’s career was his role on the leadership team in the landmark In re Syngenta AG MIR162 Corn Litigation, representing over 300,000 American corn farmers in a federal court-appointed position. Jason and a nationwide team brought a class action against Syngenta for introducing a genetically modified corn seed that closed American corn exports to China. Serving on the trial team, Jason helped secure a $217,700,000 jury verdict against Syngenta on behalf of 10,000 Kansas corn farmers – the 10th largest jury verdict in the United States in 2017. This historic verdict led to a global settlement, marking the largest recovery in U.S. agricultural litigation.
Currently, licensed to practice in Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, and Washington, DC, Jason serves as lead trial counsel for 500 coal miners with black lung disease in Eastern Kentucky. He also represents more than 100 individuals affected by 3M-related water contamination in northern Alabama and clients nationwide in medical malpractice and other personal injury cases.
